Antennas
Unlike indoor access points with printed antennas hidden inside a dome, the AP2820 pairs high-gain external omni antennas with a high-power FEM. The result is a 360° coverage pattern radiating outward from the mounting point — consistent signal across large open areas, without the dead spots that plague smaller outdoor units.
Long-Range Coverage

Long cable runs to outdoor access points lose signal and power. The AP2820's 2.5G SFP port accepts both fiber and copper modules — run fiber across long distances with zero degradation, or drop in a copper transceiver where fiber isn't available. One port, two options, no compromise on uplink speed.
Fiber-Ready by Default
For stadium poles and rooftops where copper runs exceed 100m, swap in a fiber SFP module — no extra hardware, no extra cost.
